Ministry of Business
The Ministry of Business was an amazing book to read over the past few weeks and ponder. I often found myself pondering during the week the things I had just read. It provided a great time to reevaluate myself and have introspection. This process of contemplation lead to more understanding and direction than reading the book probably did. It became a springboard for Divine Communication. It was amazing to me the concepts that I read and the experiences over the past year that reiterated the lessons being taught. With the experiences that I have had, the book provided a second or third witness of the truthfulness of a concept.
This week we also looked at fears that we have, and ways to overcome or gain perspective on those fears. I was reluctant to look internally and try to be honest about fears that I have, or could have when it comes to starting a business. I tried to put myself out there and try to really think through my fears. Although I knew this, self-doubt can be a plaguing characteristic at times. With that in mind, and me knowing of that issue I have, I felt it was constructive to step back and relax. Looking at the future and allowing fear to overcome faith does nothing. Instead, in my case, keeping my head down and trying to remain focused on the day by day battles creates a feeling of comfort and ease in my mind.
